Hello Games have finally announced the release date for No Man’s Sky, and has placed it at a date of June 21st.
Sean Murray, a member of the development team, recently came on to the Playstation blog and announced the date, and explained all the hard work they’d put into it. Alongside this, he gave a bit more information on how No Man’s Sky will work:
“In No Man’s Sky you can trade, fight, explore, and survive in a boundless, computer-generated universe. It’s a vast, open game, and always a hard one to demonstrate quickly”
He also told us that they’d been able to show off a few new details, such as how to survive on hazardous planets, and were able to finally show a few of the alien races that inhabit the universe that we cab communicate with, as well as how to learn their languages.
The final announcement he gave was that No Man’s Sky will have a full Blu-ray retail version, meaning that it’ll be available on disc to those who can’t access the PlayStation Store.
They’ve been very quiet since E3, so it’s nice to see a few details, albeit only a few, to whet our appetite and excitement. If you’re like me, then you’ll be looking forward to this, and I’ll hopefully be seeing you there.
